Iceland Trip 2017

During Key Stage 4 Trips week, 38 students from Year 10 and 11 went on a Geography and Photography trip to Iceland.

The students learnt about the formation of glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and valleys. They were able to observe one of the biggest geysers in the world, walk through Thingvellir National Park, take a dip in the secret lagoon, examine the black sand beach, visit a geothermal power plant and go whale watching!
