Year 11 Information Evening Tuesday 2nd October 6.00pm

Invitation to Parents and Students

Year 11 Information Evening Tuesday 2nd October 6.00pm

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Year 11 is a daunting time for students and parents alike.  As well as all the work for exams and coursework, decisions as to the future after Weobley High have to be made. To support our students and help demystify the process, we are holding an information evening for parents and students on:

October 2nd  6.00pm – 8.30pm approx.

The evening will provide vital information on the opportunities available for our students, including making decisions on how and when to apply for college and apprenticeships. We will also explain the Raising the Participation Age legislation.

I have invited the local colleges and main training providers (they oversee apprenticeships) to attend the event so there will be opportunities to ask questions. The evening is split in two parts, the first being short information talks from a variety of speakers, the second part being an opportunity to meet colleges and apprenticeship providers of your choice.

I hope you will be able to attend this event to help support your son/daughter take the next steps after Weobley High School.  Please complete the form below to help us to prepare for the event.

Yours faithfully,

Debbie Stokes
