Continue Reading →An excellent school trip to Rome in October 2018. Students had the opportunity to explore some of the iconic sites such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Vatican City including the Sistine Chapel and of course a trip to the bowling alley.

Year 8 have made excellent progress in their photography skills this term. There have been over 25 students in the year group who have taken part during lunch times. During Key Stage 4 Trips week, 38 students from Year 10 and 11 went on a Geography and Photography trip to Iceland.
The students learnt about the formation of glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and valleys. They were able to observe one of the biggest geysers in the world, walk through Thingvellir National Park, take a dip in the secret lagoon, examine the black sand beach, visit a geothermal power plant and go whale watching!
