Year 8 have made excellent progress in their photography skills this term. There have been over 25 students in the year group who have taken part during lunch times. The Hereford College of Arts runs an annual photography competition for young people. Several students from Weobley High entered – with some fantastic images. The theme was “My Favourite Place”
Lucy Hall was awarded FIRST Place in the Age 11 Category and Ned Pullen had three images Highly Commended – Well done to all who entered.

Some students are at the beginning of a brilliant new Life Skills topic which will includes looking after / caring for (animals) etc.
To develop the topic, the students had an opportunity to take part in a session photographing Toby ‘the listening to readers dog’.
They took some amazing photos that are well worth a look. Well done to the students and to Toby, who was a very willing subject that allowed the range of shots to be taken.

Birds of Prey Flying Spectacular – Hampton Court
A group of Year 10 Students had an opportunity to practise their photography skills at Hampton Court. There were plenty of tulips on display as well as some amazing birds of prey.
The students improved their photography skills while learning about different vultures, falcons and eagles.
