Geography trip to Cardingmill Valley 10th September 2015

This September the department took 63 year 9 students to Cardingmill Valley in Shropshire to carry out a river study. The study was conducted by the Field Studies Council who have an excellent reputation in field work provision. Students were trained in the key areas of data collection, recording and presentation. The day out combined a fantastic mix of work and play with a walk to see waterfalls, interlocking spurs, and V-shaped valleys as well as some serious stream research. ...
