On Friday 2nd December 2022 we began the return of visits by professional theatres to Weobley High School, with ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens. Importantly, this is a key set text for our KS4 students.
Adapted and presented by Anthony Roberts, Artistic Director of Colchester Arts Centre, the production followed the style of Charles Dickens’s original, fire-side story-telling to groups of his friends.
Our audience sat in rapt attention, as Anthony unfolded Scrooge’s heart-warming journey, from miser to good friend and ‘second father’ to Tiny Tim, and we very much hope he will return.
