On Wednesday 22^nd March, four teams of Year 10 Mathematicians visited Birmingham University to take part in the Big Maths Quiz. 81 teams took part from over 30 schools across the West Midlands, and two of our teams finished joint 4^th! An amazing achievement. One team also scooped a bonus box of chocolates for correctly answering a ‘spot quiz’ question, so they were enjoyed on the way home on the minibus!

We then stopped off in Malvern to attempt some escape rooms, all of our groups escaped (one team with just 10 seconds to spare!!) before returning to school tired but very happy. All of the students were a pleasure all day, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
